Aroma
Dark cassis and blackberry lead, layered with crushed violet, baking spice, and a faint trace of graphite from the volcanic soil. A subtle char of cedar and toasted vanilla rounds out the edges as the glass opens.

Palate
Full bodied and structured, with ripe black cherry and dark plum carried by firm, fine grained tannins. Mid palate brings a savory note of dried herb and dark chocolate, finishing long with warm spice and a mineral edge typical of the mountain block.
