Tasting Notes

Appearance Deep golden-yellow with amber highlights. Full-bodied with pronounced viscosity and rich texture evident in the glass.
Nose Opulent aromatics of ripe tropical fruits - pineapple, mango, and papaya - alongside baked apple and poached pear. Rich notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and toasted coconut from oak aging. Hints of Meyer lemon, crème brûlée, and warm brioche add complexity.
Palate Rich and luscious with a creamy, viscous texture. Concentrated flavors of tropical fruit, baked apple, and ripe pear dominate. Mid-palate reveals layers of butter, caramel, and toasted oak with hints of honey and baking spices. The warm vintage produces a full-bodied, generous style.
Finish Long and luxurious with persistent tropical fruit and oak spice. Notes of vanilla, honey, and toasted nuts linger. This vintage showcases Russian River Chardonnay's ability to deliver richness and power while maintaining elegance.

Food Pairing

This elegant Chardonnay pairs beautifully with:

Seafood Grilled halibut, seared scallops, lobster bisque, or crab-stuffed sole
Poultry & Light Meats Roast chicken with herbs, turkey breast, veal piccata, or pork chops with apple compote
Cream-Based Dishes Fettuccine Alfredo, risotto with mushrooms, creamy polenta, or butternut squash soup

Vintage Notes

2022 was a warm, early vintage in Russian River Valley. Consistent heat through the growing season accelerated ripening and concentrated sugars, resulting in riper fruit with tropical character. Early harvest captured optimal ripeness while preserving some acidity. The Dijon Clone 76 vines produced concentrated fruit with exceptional richness, creating a powerful yet balanced expression of warm-climate Chardonnay.
